Good friend Stuart last night posted a rant about the Muse fansite, Muse Live. I’m quite tired from today’s amount of commuting and work so the best thing would be to go straight to his blog to read the entry. However, this quote from his article kinda sums up what I think perfectly.
Perhaps it is personal grudge or a matter of taste, I hardly preach my opinion to be that of absolute truth, but I find it astounding that people are giving away their own hard earned money to a website that doesn’t reflect the needs of its members. As a community I’ve seen us grow along with the band, expanding horizons and welcoming newer and more diverse fans upon each release and tour. So why we attach ourselves and allow an ultimately false representation of us from this archaic egotistical website is beyond me. We deserve better.

People choose to donate to the site because it’s fucking expensive to run. Do your homework, fool!
