I’ve had yet another busy few days but I can now unwind for the most part. Yesterday was my 21st and I got many kind messages from family and friends. Not many presents this year because I wasn’t really fussed but I got tickets for Derren Brown next month in London’s West End (I’m really chuffed with that – I’ve been wanting to see him for ages now), Punch-Out!! for the Wii (I’ll be playing it this evening) and male grooming vouchers so far. I’m seeing my Dad in Brighton this weekend and I don’t know what on earth he has got me but I’m happy with whatever really. I bought a lot of CDs and one vinyl with my birthday money and that made me immensely happy.
The evening was pretty decent. We went to this new cafe in a branch of EX (extreme sports shop) that served exotic sounding meat like crocodile. Me and Aino had a crocodile cake each – think of a fishcake but with crocodile instead. It was very tasty, as was my rump steak main course with fat chips and chargrilled vegetables. After that, I went home and saw Manchester United honour my birthday by crumbling to a brilliant Barcelona.
